yay...more mice!!! So for one of my animations I'm doing my 2 little mice dancing. I decided to take one of the key frames and turn it into a full tonal work. And here it is! It's Dabby and Vincent as mice. They're falling in love but she's not really a mouse and is stuck between loving him and the fact that she hates being a mouse and wants to be human again. Also she's forced to marry the mouse prince but Dabby isn't really worried about that cause she's weird like that. I wish I could turn this into a full story and stuff like that cause it's so cute....or at least in my head it is.
How cute~ Even as a mouse Dabby still have her looks XP I'd say she's more feminine as a mouse lol XD Nice tonal work btw. 'Nuff said ^^

You're alive. Do something. The directive in life, the moral imperative was so uncomplicated. It could be expressed in single words, not complete sentences. It sounded like this: Look. Listen. Choose. Act.
Wow, this looks awesome. Are you used to using blue pencils to sketch out your drawing before you complete it? I wonder why some artist uses blue pencils for rough drawing....O_o
Back to the drawing. My favorite thing about them in mice forms are their cute mice ears. <3 I love the overall shading. Its great how you use it to show so many delicate and beautiful details. Where the hell did you learn to draw a gown like that?! It is so divine. And I've never seen Dabby's hair that way. Its always so puffy and wavy but here it looks thin and droopy. Regardless of the changes, there's still a sense of Dabby-ness in her.
Their expressions are pure gold. Its creates such a romantic atmosphere. A marvelous piece. Shame that you rarely draw your characters this way.

I know, it was kinda a phase. Thanks for the great comment too I have blue pencils cause they're actually called animation pencils and for some reason they're just seriously fun to draw with..dunno why.
As for our I learnt to draw gowns, I just used other pictures as reference and I picked up how folds in the clothes should be, it's actually one of my favourite part of drawing. Folds in clothes are so much fun to tone ^3^ I straightend Dabby's hair for this picture because I thought it would look good. It looks thin and droopy mainly because of the way i toned it but the really funny part is that that is what my hair looks like if I haven't washed it in a few days I naturally have thin hair and the only way it turns into dabby's hair is if I wash it

Haha, stop praising me for my comments already. You're gonna make me blush. Oh wait, I already blushed...like 1000 times! I'm not worthy of being praised by you. Oooh, an animation pencil. Maybe its to be able to detect your drawing if you wanna scan it in and make it move. Bah, I'll just search for the info on the web later.
Well, you certainly put great use of those pictures. (As references of course.) I didn't say that Mice Dabby's hair look bad that way. Hmm...funny, I thought hairs go the other way when its washed. O.o But then again, what do I know about hairs.
