So I saw a set of images of the MLP girls as superhero’s. Awesome concept right?
Well as awesome as it is, I didn’t really care for the artists outfit choice for the girls. Mainly because they don’t take the characters personalities into consideration.
So of course, I’ve decided to draw my own set! The outfits won’t be the same and they won’t all come western comic style costumes. First off, Pinkie Pie!
When thinking of the clothing inspiration, my mind went immediately to the Magical Girl concept in manga books, specifically Cardcaptor Sakura. Her clothes a cute, fun and suitable for a character who’s young at heart. I also decided to go with a bit of a jester feel as Pinkie Pie likes pranks and her ability is to make lollies and party supplies appear with her wand
